The Bedroom Musician Series in Kota Kinabalu

Hi to everyone,

On the 16th of August, Mia Palencia will be bringing to Kota Kinabalu her 6 sold out shows in KL called The Bedroom Musician Series. We are extremely excited as this marks our first road show outside the Klang Valley and it will be happening in our very own hometown.

To fulfil her promise of contributing to the development of music education in Malaysia, Mia Palencia and her fellow songwriter, Reza Salleh, will be giving a complimentary songwriting workshop for everyone attending our show. The workshop will cover songwriting as a craft and where one might look for inspiration. It hopes to reach out to budding and aspiring singer-songwriters in Sabah. After all, Sabah has always been known for its many homegrown talents. The workshop will take place on Saturday the 18th of August from 2pm to 4pm, at Sabah Trade Centre's Mini Theatre.

The show performances will also be held at Sabah Trade Centre's Mini Theather on Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th from 7pm to 10pm. Passes are available at RM25 only (RM20 for students).

The Bedroom Musician Series happening in Kota Kinabalu will be introducing Malaysia’s youngest singer-songwriter who is only thirteen this year and will also be featuring homegrown talent Andalusia, who was a finalist in the recent Blast Off reality TV band competition.
